Beta Achieved!

Long time no talk. The game has been running for quite awhile now and we have collected an substantial amount of input from you guys and girls. While mmobaseball has been humming in the background we have been busy, not only sorting through all your input, but also built a whole new game which you can start playing soon. It's called "Heroes vs Evil" and can soon be found here: http://www.heroesvsevil.com

So what does this mean for mmobaseball? Well, it's time to move out of beta and into a full fledged release. This also means quite a bit of development has to go into the game. As you are probably aware mmobaseball is a giant monster of a game and during the time that we implement all the new features, fix bugs, clean up code and tighten up graphics on level 3 we need to take mmobaseball offline.

We want to thank you so much for all your bug reports and suggestions that have come in through out the time mmobaseball has been in beta. We hope that you have had fun during this beta and that your teams and players did well.

"But what about my player / team? What will happen to them?" Right now the plan is to keep all the player names and teams and owners intact for the relaunch of mmobaseball, but if it happens and we need to do a clean wipe I can't promise you that your characters will still be there when we relaunch. Sorry, but that's a fact we can't get around.
